Q: What is Georgia Commute Options?
A: An awesome set of free services that help improve how metro Atlanta gets to and from work. We offer cash and prizes to commuters that choose alternatives to driving alone—and our services help make that switch as easy as possible.
Q: How do I sign up?
A: Click here. You’ll be asked to enter information including your home address, work address, work hours and information about your commute. You’ll receive an email that asks you create a password in order to log in to your profile.
Q: I am not receiving emails from Georgia Commute Options like my log reminders or prompts to reset my password. What’s wrong?
A: Sometimes those emails are sent to spam folders, so you can check there first! Remember to add email@example.com to your list of approved senders to receive our emails in the future.
Q: How much does it cost to find a ridematch?
A: Nothing at all—our ridematching service is totally free.
Q: Is this a program like Uber?
A: No. Uber is like a taxi service that picks riders up and takes them to their destination for a fee. Georgia Commute Options helps commuters find their own rideshare options for their commute.
Q: Why do you collect so much information?
A: If you’re ever a prize winner, we want to make sure that we have every available method of getting in touch to let you know. We also use the info to do verification checks with incoming enrollments, making sure we’re always on the up and up.
Q: How do I update my password?
A: Click here to be taken to your “Change My Password” page. Remember your password must include a minimum of 1 letter, 1 number and 1 special character.
Q: What is a “clean commute?”
A: Any commute that doesn’t involve driving alone! Carpooling, biking, walking, teleworking, vanpooling, and transit all qualify. We also count Compressed Work Weeks—that is, working longer days, fewer days a week—because those create off days on which employees help reduce congestion and air pollution by skipping a day’s commute. However Compressed Work Weeks are not eligible for the $3 a Day/Gimme Five incentive. Click here to learn more about each of these clean commute options.

A: No. We’re thrilled to be continuing the programs previously offered by The Clean Air Campaign in the metro Atlanta region.
Q: Can you help me with my emissions testing?
A: Unfortunately we cannot, but you can visit Georgia’s Clean Air Force at CleanAirForce.com.
Q: How do I update my profile information like my address and phone number?
A: Go to GaCommuteOptions.com and log in to your profile. Under the header “My Profile” to the right of the page, select “Edit My Profile.” There you can update your email address, phone numbers, home address, hours and your worksite.
Q: What other organizations does Georgia Commute Options partner with?
A: Georgia Commute Options works in partnership with the Atlanta Regional Commission, MARTA, the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (GRTA), the State Road and Tollway Authority (SRTA), and the Georgia Environmental Protection Division. We also partner with the local Transportation Management Associations including Cumberland Corridor TMA (CCTMA), Livable Buckhead, Perimeter Connects, ASAP+, Midtown Alliance, Central Atlanta Progress, and AeroATL.
