Two New Xpress Routes Are Here!

School is back in metro Atlanta, and so is traffic! Do you work in the Perimeter Center area? Are you looking for stress-free commute options?  Good News! Our partners at Xpress have added two new Xpress bus routes, providing commuters with more options! The new Xpress service launched on August 1 and runs from Cobb’s Town Center – Route 482 park and ride and Gwinnett’s Sugarloaf Mills – Route 417 park and ride, bringing commuters to the Perimeter Center area.

If you are a commuter in the Cobb or Gwinnett area traveling to the Perimeter Center area, you are in luck! You can simplify your commute by using the new Xpress bus while earning a few bucks through the Georgia Commute Options incentives program. The Georgia Commute Options incentives program is a program designed to award commuters with cash for taking an alternative to driving alone. Commuters who live or work around metro Atlanta and those who are interested in sharing a ride to work are eligible for the Georgia Commute Options cash incentives programs.

If you are making the switch from driving to riding an Xpress bus to work for the first time, the Georgia Commute Options “Gimme 5” cash incentive program is the program for you. Commuters who are making the transition from driving to riding the new Xpress buses can earn $5 each day they use the new Xpress buses, for up to $150.

If you’re already using a commute alternative, you are still eligible to win some GCO incentives. Each time you log your Xpress bus trip, you are entered into a monthly drawing to win a $25 gift card through the Georgia Commute Options “$25 Prizes” cash incentives program.

Annually, Xpress removes 55 million miles of congestion from the region’s interstates. With 27 routes and park-and-rides, Xpress draws ridership from 44 counties and provides 3.4 million residents with a ride to work. Xpress bus riders not only save gas and parking, they save time, are more productive, and have lower stress levels.
