Cousins at Terminus
Cousins Properties manages the Terminus mixed-use development at Piedmont and Peachtree, which consists of two office towers with over 1,000,000 square feet of commercial office space, a luxury 137-unit condo tower, and 80,000 square feet of street-level retail. The buildings are LEED certified Gold and Silver.
Built in the most recent round of development, Terminus embraced modern zoning requirements, which encourage dense, sustainable and environmentally-sensitive development, minimizing excessive parking requirements and shared parking for open public spaces. Having been built with the lowered number of parking spaces, Terminus partnered with Livable Buckhead to find creative ways to lessen the demand by offering commute options programs.
Since 2008, Terminus has participated in Livable Buckhead’s discounted transit pass program to purchase passes each month on behalf of their tenants. The most recent effort has been to form a Terminus vanpool. Terminus management’s commitment extends to incentivizing the formation by covering the entire cost of a vanpool for the first three months; a potential investment of nearly $5,000.
Terminus management’s commitment to promoting transportation alternatives extends to partnering with Livable Buckhead to hold commuter events every other month, including health fairs, Earth Day tabling event, Atlanta Bike Safety lunch and learn, MARTA Pedestrian Bridge Outreach event and the Terminus Vanpool event.
