Garrett Morgan
Witnessing an accident prompted him to invent one of the country's most significant road safety features.

Katherine T. Knox
She pushed the boundaries of gender and race to participate in Boston's cycling arena.

William T. Coleman
His work in Civil Rights and for the US Department of Transportation made him the 1995 Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient.

Bessie Stringfield
She was known as the Motorcycle Queen of Miami who broke barriers as she biked solo across the country.
