You know that the collective effort of a dedicated group of individuals can move mountains. This April, your teams can apply that same power to help reduce congestion and improve the air we breathe.

Clean Air Counts, presented by Georgia Commute Options (GCO), kicks off April 1. The monthlong challenge is a great way to make sure your employees’ sustainable commute choices are seen, counted, and rewarded.

Why It Matters

Daily actions like commuting directly impact our air quality. Tailpipe emissions and even just rolling tires add significant amounts of microscopic particles, sulfur oxides, and nitrogen oxides to our air, contributing to dangerous air quality days and worsening asthma and heart conditions.

Every transit ride, carpool, vanpool, telework day, and active commute such as biking and walking adds up to measurable regional progress on cleaning the air. The Clean Air Counts campaign provides a tangible way for commuters to improve air quality, track their individual and collective pollution savings through the MyGCO dashboard, and to be rewarded for their contributions.

Rewards Worth the Effort

Clean commutes count—and we’re going all out to recognize and reward sustainable trips with exciting one-of-a-kind experiences. Here’s a peek:
