This Summer’s Hot Spots for Atlanta’s Best Street Art

Summer is finally here! Warmer weather, longer days and more time to explore new scenes in Atlanta. What better way to spend your long summer days than discovering Atlanta’s hottest summer art? Spice up your daily travels or weekend adventures by uncovering the beauty of Atlanta’s public art scene.

Pro tip: Taking transit, walking or biking can be a great way to explore all the art Atlanta has to offer.

Here’s a few of our must-see spots around the city:

  • Atlanta BeltLine – Of course the Beltline made the list. Lace up your walking shoes or grab your bike for a nice cruise. You could spend the whole day basking in the 33 miles of diverse art hidden throughout the trail. As you weave in and out of Atlanta’s neighborhoods, the BeltLine is sprinkled with street art from local artists, including Alex Brewer’s Hense located under a bridge on the Eastside trial (587 Virginia Ave. NE). Get your Instagram ready, cause a trip to Beltline is like walking down a runway of art.
  • Path 400 – Take a stroll along GA 400 and into the heart of Buckhead on Path400. Along the way, check out the new mural series, sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, that emphasizes the importance of mental wellness. Hands down, this is a must see this summer.
  • Krog Street Tunnel Prepare to be awed as you walk, bike or scoot through the Krog Street Tunnel. Connecting the Inman Park and Cabbagetown neighborhoods, Krog Street Tunnel is one of Atlanta’s hippest spots for constantly evolving street art. Plus, if you work up an appetite from exploring the tunnel, Krog Street Market is just steps away!
  • MARTA Stations – Yep, that’s right! There’s artwork in MARTA stations! Switch up your daily commute with a little art crawl starting at the Midtown station where you’ll find Andrew Catanese’s, “Confluence: Burst Forth with A Terrific Noise.” But don’t stop there! Hop back on MARTA and get off at the Civic Center station, where you’ll find Paul Freundt’s “As It Goes Through.” Yes, your Instagram will once again thank you later.
