Spring is in the air, and with it comes a fresh opportunity to boost your team’s energy and well-being. Encourage employees to go for a bike ride all month long for fun, fitness and prizes during May Bike Month, presented by Georgia Commute Options.

The event is free and open to everyone in the 20-county metro Atlanta region.

Ride for Health

A healthy team is a high-performing team. By encouraging your employees to participate, you’re supporting:

  • Physical & mental wellness: Regular riding reduces stress and improves cardiovascular health.
  • Increased focus: Active employees often report higher levels of engagement and mental clarity.
  • Community spirit: Even though the focus is on individual goals, sharing the “Bike & Bloom” spirit fosters a vibrant, supportive office culture.

Prizes Bring a Smile, Too

We’re making it easy for your staff to get motivated. Whether they are biking to the office, the grocery store, or a local trail, every trip logged for May Bike Month earns them chances to win:

  • National Ride a Bike Day (May 3): Log a ride for a chance to win $500.
  • The Grand Prize: A $1,000 gift card drawing. (The more they ride, the more entries they earn!)
  • Encourager rewards: Get others to join and ride to win cash.

How to Get Started

You don’t need to be a cycling expert to lead the way. Simply encourage employees to:

  1. Pre-register at lovetoride.net/atlanta/pages/current-challenge?locale=en-US
  2. Set a personal goal—whether it’s one ride a week or daily commuting.
  3. Log miles to qualify for prizes.
  4. Share the journey and inspire friends and colleagues to get involved.

Set the wheels in motion! Encourage your workforce to challenge themselves, have some fun, and see just how far bicycling can take them.
